Melina Gordon – What are the greatest challenges & opportunities in your industry?
Working in Human Resources in Hospitality probably the main challenge is the turnover. To find people who have the qualifications to do their jobs, and people usually move very fast from one position to another. So, that’s probably the main challenge and the opportunities is that we need to recruit from areas we’re not used to recruit. To find more talent and also there is a great opportunity to retain our current employees. So, sometimes we focus so much on replacement when we should be focusing on retaining our team.
